A Conestoga Wagon makes its way down Bacton Hill on its way past the Valley View Tavern. The tavern, near the top of Bacton Hill, supplied the Conestoga Wagon Drovers a place for a meal, a brew, and even a place to sleep for the night. 2 livery stables provided shelter for the draft horses who pulled their heavy loads up and down the steep incline. Built in the 1800's the beautiful structure is now a private home.
